A whimsical folk art scene has a group of children surrounding a Christmas tree and singing carols. There are colorful houses behind them. Snow is softly falling on the scene. The town I live in has an annual Christmas Sing and Tree Lighting ceremony every year. It’s held on the lawn of the Hoover Company, the home of the Hoover Sweepers. Hoover Company will no longer be here, so there may not be a community sing in future years, which is a sad thing.
